East River Church is a cooperative fellowship of the Assemblies of God, comprised of people who love Jesus Christ, who believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and who desire to worship and serve the living God in a manner that brings glory and honor to Him.

We preach and teach the Gospel of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and are committed to explaining, teaching, and applying the eternal truths of God's Word to children, teens, adults, and families.

From The Pastor

Hello, I’m Pastor Tim Boyd. It has been my pleasure to serve in Bluefield, Virginia for ten years and pastor the greatest group of people in the world at East River Church. I have been married to my lovely wife Julie for 24 years and we have two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Lyndsey, and a wonderful son-in-law, Lyndsey’s husband... Justin.

We would love for you to come visit our church family and worship with us. We are people just like you, looking for answers, searching for friendship, hungry for truth, and along the way realizing that all of us were created for a purpose, we just need to "discover our destiny".
